This summer I will be a part of a team that will be embarking on an adventure to Turkey for two weeks. The purpose of the trip is to build up and train those who feel God�s calling to the mission field, and to instill a passion for church planting movements to Muslim people. We hope to gain hands on experience with an undercover mission team. We will also be helping the team that is already in place in Turkey. We will be visiting Turkish people in their homes and becoming culturally aware and sensitive to the Muslim people. I am really excited about going out of the country and being able to visit new places overseas.
The missions team will be comprised of eight people who will be leaving on Sunday, July 31 arriving home on Sunday, August 14. The cost of the trip will be $2500, all of which needs to be raised before the date of departure. Most of the cost is for the plane tickets. What can you help pray for?
Pray that we will get all the necessary support money raised in time. 
Pray for our safety. It's a long way to Turkey and a lot of things could possibly go wrong, so pray that every thing goes smoothly and for God�s protection over the team. Pray for the relations of the team members, and above all else pray that God will be glorified through our mission.
About Turkey
The Republic of Turkey has an approximate population of 67.8 million. It is located in the Eastern Mediterranean and is part of two continents both Europe and Asia. 99.8 percent of the population is Muslim, however Turkey is secular and assures complete freedom of worship to non-Muslims. (There are less than 0.2 percent Christians in Turkey.) Some of the major cities include Istanbul, Ankara (Capital) and Izmir. The language is Turkish and the currency used is called Lira.
